Dawr "Ijma3 Shufna"

A fantastic performance by the early-20th-century master of Tarab, Salih Abdel-Hayy. Also one of the few songs in Maqam Dalansheen. The Dawr is a 19th-century Egyptian genre in which the soloist exchanges with the chorus on the syllable "Ah," and has room to do extended improvisations.
